Being able to have the powers, this of Darth Vader, would be amazing to the child in the commercial. The child is obsessed with the charter of Darth Vader and how he can gain these powers. Suited in the complete Darth Vader costume with face mask the young child begins his expedition with the family exercise bike, putting his hands in front of him expecting something wonderful to happen. The young child is disappointed as nothing happens. With great hope he travels through the family home putting his hands in the air pointing towards the family dog, then to the washing machine and dryer, but there is no change in powers. The young Darth Vader has not yet given up, as he enters the kitchen to see his mother with a sandwich, he again tries to acquire his powers, another lost cause. He seems to be almost defeated, as his father pulls into the driveway, he sees the perfect object to prove his powers, the father’s car Volkswagen Passat. He stands in front of the car, again throwing his hands in front of him, believing this is going to be it, concentrating with all his might keeping his hands extremely steady. Then finally after all his anticipation he sees the vehicle’s head lights shine and the engine start. Startled he backs up quickly, looks around and then looks again to the Passat. He has mastered his powers and believes he is Darth Vader! Through the kitchen window the parents are standing there with the keys, which has a remote start, happy to see their child imagination come alive.

The parents portrayed in this commercial are sufficient illustration of the 21st century family. The mother at home, taking care of the child and the father arriving home, from what is no doubt ably, a work day in his full business suit. The environment is shown as a typical middle class family unit.
Darth Vader is known as a classic character of the star wars movie, there is no other that can compare to him, for this reason Darth Vader will most likely be known throughout history to some existent. The character has drawn children to the movie for over 30 years, there is no other!
